Well it's time for another fold, and this month we are going to be looking at friendship in the book of Proverbs. At first glance, I thought about doing the study on how to choose friends, but I think a better way to approach it would be how to be a friend that someone would want to choose. Our topic last time was "The fear of the Lord" and again that is the foundation for this study. Being a good friend starts with fearing God. C.S. Lewis said that we all have a fatal flaw in us. I think wisdom in regard to friendship starts with this idea. While we are seeing flaws in others, they are more than likely seeing them in us as well, but if we both have our eyes on the Lord we will see our friends the way He sees them.
Dinner this week is gonna be a regular potluck- bring what ever dish you want. Please leave a comment to let us know if you'll be bringing a main dish, side, salad, or dessert.
See you at 5:30 on Thursday, the 19th!

As long as it is not too slippery I will be there. Don't have all four snow tires yet. And I will bring a dessert.
